Media Environment of Georgia

On February 08, Human Rights Center (HRC) has presented the research - Media Environment of Georgia, which was prepared in the frame of the project “Quality Media and Conscious Media Consumption for Resilient Society” (ConMeCo).
During the presentation, the authors have presented the report with regard to Media Environment of Georgia, which aims to assess the freedom of media, state of rights of journalists and media pluralism in Georgia. In addition, the Media Development Fund (MDF) has presented the assessment of the Financial Transparency of Media in Georgia (2022).
Quality Media and Conscious Media Consumption for Resilient Society (ConMeCo) project is implemented by DW Akademie (DWA) in cooperation with Media Development Foundation (MDF) and Human Rights Centre (HRC) funded by the European Union and co-funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
