Tbilisi Appellate Court Will Start Examination of the Shatili minibus accident case
Tomorrow, on March 15, the Tbilisi Appellate Court will start examination of the car accident case by tourist minibus in Shatili. HRC believes that the Tbilisi Appellate Court shall satisfy the appeal of the Mtskheta district prosecutor’s office and find the head of the tourist company Treveler.ge Sh.B. guilty in the initial charge imposed on him.

Summary Findings from Human Rights Center Observers in the Second Round of Local Self-Government Elections
On October 30, HRC is monitoring the second round of local self-government elections at polling stations in Kutaisi, Telavi, and Rustavi with 9 observers.

Municipal Elections 2021 – Most election violations were observed in Marneuli district polling stations
In the last few hours of the October 2, 2021 Municipal Elections the situation got tense in several polling stations and incidents were observed that undermined the peaceful and fair election environment on the Election Day. The PEC chairpersons created obstacles for the HRC observers when they wanted to register complaints. One of the HRC observers was unlawfully dismissed from the polling station. The miscarriages and violations were observed during the counting process too.

Municipal Elections 2021 - Election violations and tendencies observed by Human Rights Center
HRC monitors the 2021 Municipal Elections through 51 qualified election observers in three regions of Georgia – Kakheti, Imereti and Kvemo Kartli.
